1. Purpose:
- To assist the Events and Marketing Manager in organising events (conferences, forum) and promotional activity and provide general administrative support to KBCC
2. Tasks and responsibilities:
- To support the activity of the Events and Marketing Manager
- Assist with sourcing and booking venues
- Registering delegates both online and via post
- Composing correspondence both on behalf of the Events team and senior staff
- Confirmation and liaison with speakers- agenda creation- Liaison with governmental agencies and private companies
- Resolving any invoicing queries and ensuring all delegates receive an exemplary level of customer service at all times
- Liaising with hosts and guest speakers to ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible and everyone is fully briefed
- Conducting post-event evaluations
- Updating the organisation’s website, according to events
- Managing all incoming and outgoing emails for the team and senior staff
- Organising travel on behalf of the Events Managers as well as providing full diary management when necessary
- Organise meetings for KBCC’s staff
3. Personal Specifications:
- The successful candidate will be working in a fast paced, pressurised environment within a small team
- You will have to be creative and initiative and meet strict deadlines
- You will have an excellent grasp of the English, Russian and Kazakh languages both written and spoken
