Eurasian Media Forum to focus on Ukraine

The next Eurasian Media Forum (EAMF), scheduled for April 24-25, 2014 in Astana will focus on Syria and Ukraine.

Dariga Nazarbayeva, Chair of the Eurasian Media Forum Organizing Committee, will open the conference.

The plenary session is entitled “US Vs Iran. Peace Or Truce?” Other sessions will cover such topics as: “Who Is Burning In The Syrian Flames?” and “The Battle For Ukraine.

The Eurasian Media Forum won an international acclaim as an open dialogue venue, is the largest of its kind both nationwide and regionally. It was initiated by the Kazakhstan National Khabar News Agency and was officially registered as a non-political, non-profit, non-governmental organization — Eurasian Media Forum Foundation — in Almaty in September 2001. The first five conferences held annually since 2002 have each attracted more than 500 media, political and business experts from 60 countries.
