Nazarbayev warns against nuke proliferation

Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev has urged countries that de facto possess nuclear weapons to assume responsibility for non-proliferation of such weapons. Kazakhstan to allocate additional 5 bln tenge to support grain export

Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan have agreed to create a body regulating their trade and economies that could eventually become a Eurasian economic union. The presidents of the three former Soviet republics — which have recently set up a common customs union that allows a free movement of labor and goods between the countries — signed a declaration in the Kremlin targeting a full “Eurasian economic union” by 2015.
